How to give regular metal a copper color?

I have some little silver colored metal jump rings and I was wondering how I could give them a copper tone? Or just a more brown, vintage coloring? Suggestions would be great!

Instead of giving them just a copper "tone", you could electroplate them with actual copper! Electroplating isn't difficult, really, it just requires an understanding of the concept.

Follow the instructions and you can coat your piece very easily, but pay attention to the instructions regarding disposal. Good luck!
