Pine Doors

Hello. I recently installed a number of clear pine (ie not knotted) doors interior in my house. Now Somone told me they are very likely to deform over time. Is this correct, and there is nothing I can do about it? Thank you in advance!
I have even 14 years and had no problems. I advise them to leak with vanish or something similar to prevent any removal wet.
