Antique victorian crystal item?? Please help to identify?

I have a crystal cone shaped item that is approx 6" long & 4" wide-narrows to a point looks like waflecone. It is definately crystal as it picks up light and colors. I was told that maybe it is a victorian light shade that hangs upside down? I have no idea what it is, but is sure looks awesome. I appreciate any help that you can give me. Thanks!!
