Can a PC boot up by it's self? Is there a way to set it to boot up everyday without doing it manually?

I want my computer to be up and running every morning when I get up but don't want to leave it on at night. Since it's internal clock keeps the BIOS updated I think there should be a way to have it boot up by its self.

What you could also do is to modify the power settings so that your machine goes into hibernation after 1/2 an hour or so of not being used. The machine is then "off".

When you come in the next morning pressing the "on" button with wake your computer up, which will take a second or two, but it wont have to go through the full boot up routine.
