One Side
Posted in Garden Antiques on 08/11/2010 01:21 am by adminWhat material is transparent on one side but the other?
I know there is some material like that out there but what is it called and where can I buy it?
On one side or to the user, it is completely see through. But on the other, it is opaque or preferably completely impossible to see through.
It's for eyes on a costume. Therefore I will need to be able to color and cut it to shape.
I'd prefer something low on cost, as well.
If you use a dark semi sheer fabric -- chiffon or the like -- it should work.
Because it is a costume -- I am assuming the eyes are not large -- and there is no light shining from the wearer's side, you should get the look of it being opaque, but still be able to see through it.
Be careful of covering eyes in a costume -- it does make your vision VERY limited.
