is this like usury? what is so amazing with paintings like mona lisa which is priced skyhigh while it is said that it was painted by a man whereas it would be more magnificent if a monkey draw or painted a realistic looking flower? so, with the coins, stamps,which just can be made at the present but why the prices are sky high?
Islam understands that buying and selling is a basic operation of most economic systems.
The Quran says that competition is desireable; it allows producers to sell their products/services, and for customers to obtain desired/needed things, at a MUTUALLY acceptable price.
