How to set the time on a stock radio/casette player in a 1984 Seville?

I was told to hold the set button and use the seek and scan for hours and minutes. Problem, there is no SET button. the big top knob is on/off and volum, the big bottom button is for speakers left/right or front/ back. there are two sliding buttons for the bass and treble. and there is a little button that (I think ) says dolby for the type of casette you are playing. then there are the usual pre-sets for several stations and the eject button. Every time I start the car it starts at 10:00....its driving me crazy...
Please help......thanks much, Bill

It might be secondary to a preset button, and if it keeps resetting to 10:00 you might have a problem with your constant.
