Best Desktop Gaming Parts?

ok i am looking to build a custom gaming pc to do tourneys etc (enemy territory )
i got some specs on the best gaming parts from a friend but i want something better here are the specs :

1. The Intel Core 2 Extreme is probably the best on the market at the moment. Don't mess with that.
2.I like his motherboard too, don't change that.
3.This is where you can start to pull away. Go get 2 of that, and put it all together since I'm sure that motherboard supports 4x240 pin DDR2, and you'll have 4 GB (4 x 1GB) Corsair Ram, the best avalible IMO.
4.The Geforce 8 series is much better, and you can get 2x Evga 8800GT 768 MB RAM 384 bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16.
5.This is fine.
6.The Raptors are always the best. Stay with that.
7.This is a good HD for putting other stuff in.
8.That PSU will be enough for any machine today.
9.That is probably the best Sound Card available. Stay with that.
