What are some scary stories you've heard?

The freakiest one I've heard, and there are different versions to this

Wow, that is scary! I have a real life story that's kinda freaky, maybe not scary. But it was the scariest thing I'd ever seen when I was young. It happened in July 1977 and was a front page city newspaper article the next day.

When my younger sister was about 7 years old, one day she had gone grocery shopping with my mom (I stayed at home because I had a cold). On the way home, they were riding the bus. When they got to a particular intersection and the bus was stopped at the stop sign, my sister apparently went very pale in her face and she turned to my mom and said, "Mom, we're not going to make it home". My mom looked at her strangely. My sister said it again as the bus turned the corner and moved again. My mom told her to be quiet. At the next intersection, my sister was squirming in her seat and her face had now turned red. My mom asked her what was wrong. "Mom", she said, "We aren't going to make it home". At the same time she said this, the bus moved again, and suddenly there was a deafening noise, and the bus spinned 180 degrees, landing in the ditch on the opposite side of the road, facing the opposite direction. When my mom could see again, her grocery bags were all over the aisle in the bus and she checked to see if my sister was okay. She was sitting crouched over and crying, but alright. My mom noticed right away that the bus driver was hanging halfway out the front window. She got up from her seat to help him. He was alive and okay, but bleeding a lot. My mom got a package of paper towels she had bought and was using them to help the driver stop bleeding. Then my sister told my mom that the ambulance was here, even before my mom heard the sirens.

After this had happened, my neighbour came to get me and walked with me to the accident scene. It was horrible. The bus had a HUGE open gap on the stairwell side of the bus and there was glass everywhere, even a block away from the scene. The witnesses told the police that the person who caused this to happen was a drunk driver, who was driving at over 80 mph, hit the bus, flew up into the air in a 360 degree circle and landed on a set of stairs behind a school gymnasium. All of the wheels on the car were gone. The man had his wife and 10 month old daughter in the car with him. Nobody was wearing seatbelts, and the man was found over 200 ft away from the vehicle after it landed. He was the only survivor from the car. The wife was found deceased and the police found the baby underneath the dashboard. They could not tell if the baby was 'human' or not, as the baby was so covered in blood and 'broken up' they weren't able to identify her until much later. Everyone on the bus was okay, except for the driver. He had punctured his lung, broke a rib and had severe cuts on his head when he went through the windshield. My mom found out later he was treated at the hospital and was okay.

Well, my sister was kind of right. They didn't make it home - for 7 hours after the accident happened.
