As a compromise against company policy against inappropriate use of PC's, my employer has allocated a few PC's for the express use of casual browsing for our personal time, but the problem is they're locked out tighter than a cast iron medieval chastity belt. And they're amazingly quick in picking up proxy sites(fastest is 2 hours). Complaints to management have sadly fallen on deaf ears, and worker's rights are rather limited in my neck of the woods. Heck I can't even look at an internationally recognized kid friendly website!
There's got to be something that can overcome the boneheads in our IT department!!!
Wow! That really does suck. If all proxy sites are being blocked, I don't really know if you'll be able to find a proxy site to use. However, if you have administrator privileges on your pc, you can install tor and use that to connect to the internet. Good Luck!
