Impressive Brass

i am aware that yes a Cornet is a mainly brass band instrument however im aware that some pieces written in the baroque era were written for separate cornets. ( i was just wondering)
if not does anyone know of some reasonably easy really impressive classical trumpet pieces i could do?
The cornet was invented in the 1820s (so, not Baroque) and many composers used a pair of these in tandem with two trumpets (which remained valveless for a few more years and, therefore, more limited in which notes they could play). This was very common in 19th-century French music (eg, most of Berlioz's orchestral works, including the 'Symphonie fantastique' [in which he added an optional cornet solo in the 2nd movement], Debussy, Chausson, etc) and also in some other pieces (eg Tchaikovsky's 'Capriccio italien').
