Brush Nickel

I just moved into a new home. There are so many different materials on the fixtures that I am not used to cleaning! I'm not new to cleaning, and I have been cleaning this house now for about a month. However, I don't want to be using the wrong products on these expensive new fixtures! There is granite, brushed nickel, hardwood, fiberglass tub, and what about microfiber cushions? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
